What is m-Collection Point 247?
m-Collection Point 247 is a mobile version of a Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point that can be located in different parts of the city and operated for periods tailored to residents’ needs.
Instead of making an additional trip to a traditional, often distant Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point, m-Collection Point 247 comes to residents — to a housing estate, a supermarket car park, a school site, or another frequently visited location.
Thanks to the Less Waste app, the solution makes it easier for residents to properly dispose of waste such as small electrical and electronic equipment, batteries, light bulbs, fluorescent lamps, and textiles..
Convenient access makes it quick and easy to dispose of problematic waste fractions that often remain at home for long periods while residents wait for the right time and place to hand them over.

Waste Control
The system is complemented by the Waste Control mobile application, which enables the employees of the waste collection company to perform quality control of segregated bags.
- The inspector selects a bag from the container.
- They scan the QR code placed on the bag.
- They assess the contents of the bag and the performed waste compression (if applicable).
- The inspection results, along with a photo, are sent to the mOdpady app.
Information regarding the inspection and its results is available to the inspected premises, the property manager, and the municipality. The collected data can be used to plan a targeted educational campaign aimed at raising residents’ awareness of proper waste segregation principles.
