Śrem expands the Individual Waste Segregation System from T-Master SA
Śrem is a city that has embraced innovative solutions in municipal waste management. After implementing the Individual Waste Segregation System (SISO) in one housing estate, the local authorities decided to further develop and expand the project. Today, Śrem already operates more than 110 smart waste containers, helping residents to sort their waste effectively and conveniently.
This is the best proof of the system’s effectiveness. If the operation was problematic, and if the level of selective waste collection in housing estates had not improved, the city would not have continued the investment. Instead, the results are clear: tidier waste collection areas, higher-quality segregation, and a significant increase in the amount of recyclable materials recovered.
Modern technologies supporting residents
The system implemented in Śrem is based on T-Master’s innovative solutions:
- resident identification at containers,
- full control over proper waste disposal,
- real-time data analysis,
- reports and statistics helping the municipality achieve legally required recycling levels.
Thanks to these technologies, the city fulfills the principles of modern waste management PAYT (Pay As You Throw) – a system in which each resident is responsible for how they segregate waste.
Next step: Municipal Selective Waste Collection Point (PSZOK)
This is not the end of Śrem’s investment. The city will soon open a modern e-Collection Point 247 – a Municipal Selective Waste Collection Point (PSZOK), complementing the system and enabling residents to dispose of problematic fractions such as electronic waste, bulky items, or hazardous waste.
Education and support for residents
T-Master not only provides technology but also supports the city at every stage of implementation. New system users are trained, and residents receive full support in using smart containers. This combination of modern technological solutions with ecological education means that results are visible very quickly.
Śrem as an example for other cities
Śrem’s decision to expand the system proves that SISO and T-Master’s 5th Method are proven tools that genuinely improve waste management. The city has become an example for other municipalities in Poland that are seeking effective and modern solutions combining ecology, technology, and convenience for residents.
